Fourth of July Stripes.

Happy 4th of July! A patriotic look today featuring white and blue stripes. My toes are red, hard to tell in the pictures though. I was supposed to spend the day at the beach but Hurricane Arthur had other plans for me. So I threw on this cute shift and my Birks and took the kids to the zoo! I recently traveled to Lewes, DE and had a mini shopping spree. There are great outlets in the area as well as cute boutiques. I scored some amazing vintage jewelry, including these earrings, at a cute shop in downtown Lewes. Anyway, Happy Kicks for America today!

Spotted

I'm a sucker for anything in a leopard print, and was especially happy to find this cozy sweater in gray. Sometimes I like to try out different color combinations, and I thought these deep yellow jeans and red pumps paired nicely with the the gray. Muted pops of color work well together.

Floral Flair

I may have picked up a few of Peter Pilotto's new pieces for Target over the weekend. It might have happened. And possibly I've been dying to wear them ever since. Just possibly. The weather here is not cooperating with my new springier items, but I couldn't wait any longer! So today you are getting a springy floral top styled for the winter weather. Wide leg pants, winter white lady coat, vintage bag, and statement earrings. Done and done!

Happy kicks today for my funny students! We are reading a fairly serious novel set during WWII, and I had a student compare the chapter today to an episode of The Big Bang Theory! I literally laughed out loud. You have to appreciate a 10 year old using Sheldon Cooper as  reference! Bazinga!
