New Year's Eve.

My last post of 2014. It's been a great year! My first year of blogging was pretty successful. I certainly learned a few things and have lots to think about as I move into 2015.  I appreciate all of the support from my followers. Expect to see more outfits in the coming year!

Of course my last outfit of the year had to feature a few of my favorites ~ plaid, stripes, and a great pair of shoes!

All Black.

Some days just call for one color. There's no matching. No coordinating. No thinking. Just pull out your favorite black pieces, layer them up, and voilà ~ effortlessly cool. I did add this amazing plaid scarf for a touch of interest. Zara had a similar scarf last season and regretfully I never bought it so when I found this one at Target recently, I snatched it up right away! I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing it all winter! Oversized Scarf

Go big or go home! At least that's my motto lately when it comes to scarves. On a cold winter day, there is nothing better than wrapping an oversized scarf around your neck. This gorgeous scarf was a birthday gift and I just love the bright colors and bold pattern. Keeping the rest of my outfit simple really let the scarf be the star.
