New Year's Eve.

My last post of 2014. It's been a great year! My first year of blogging was pretty successful. I certainly learned a few things and have lots to think about as I move into 2015.  I appreciate all of the support from my followers. Expect to see more outfits in the coming year!

Of course my last outfit of the year had to feature a few of my favorites ~ plaid, stripes, and a great pair of shoes!

Orange Cream

I love the combination of orange and cream. The neutral creams of my outfit really are the orange pop. My new oxfords worked well to keep my orange skirt the center of my outfit. Of course I added my jean jacket as an extra layer and a clutch to finish the look.

Windowpane

I'm feeling a little retro today in my cropped windowpane pants and penny loafers. Or maybe I'm channeling my inner Michael Jackson? While I did not wear my sequin glove today, I do think these color-blocked loafers by Bass are a fun spin on a classic shoe. I love pairing black and white with a pop of color, and cobalt blue is always a good option.
