Pineapple Love.

Pineapples! I'm a longtime lover of this symbolic fruit and love that they are popping up on clothing everywhere. I found this cute tank at Target and paired it with my camo jeans. With a simple print, camouflage acts as a neutral. I added my black vest as an extra layer and some fun sandals to tie in the color of the pineapple. Happy Kicks for pineapple fashion!

Gray // Camo

Here's another look from my Spring Break week. I wanted to bring new life to my gray sweater so I paired it with some loose fitting camo pants and my black mules. Kind of casual with a kick. These mules are by far my most favorite new shoes. I love that I can wear them with both dressy and casual pieces. Not to mention that they are quite comfortable.

Happy Kicks today for a fairly smooth transition back to work. Hope the rest of my week will be as easy as today was!

A Blazer & Sneaks

I love a good blazer. I love a cute pair of sneakers. Put the two together and you'll see a happy kick from this girl. I'm layered up today because it's so cold here.  Layering is a really easy way to bring some variety to your outfit. Just make sure to choose complimentary colors so that the pieces in your outfit aren't competing.

Camo & Denim

An easy breezy look for a beautiful sunny day. I'm loving these camo pants. They can be styled both casually and on the dressier side (see this post). Today they are paired with my favorite tee!  If you haven't checked out The Home. T (here), you really must! What a great way to show your love for your home state! Not to mention the tees are super comfortable and fit perfectly! I also snagged these new open toed mules last week. I featured them in my Currently Craving post a while back and I was lucky enough to find them on Hautelook at a discounted price. They are definitely going to be paired with many outfits this spring! And finally, lets talk about this denim jacket. It is ancient, as in I've had it so long I can't even remember when I got it. But the thing is, every girl needs one because they go with everything and will never go out of style!

Happy Kicks for this lovely weather we are having which allowed me to wear my new peep toes! Hope it sticks around for awhile!

Mixed Prints

There is definitely an art to mixing prints, and while I am no Olivia Palermo, I think the two prints in my outfit work well together.  The key is choosing prints in coordinating shades of color.  The houndstooth is a black and cream which plays nicely against the olive in the camouflage top.  I added a cardigan to ground my outfit and a statement necklace for some wow factor.  My buckled booties kept my outfit looking casual.
