One of my favorite spring trends is fringe. I've seen it on dresses, skirts, boots, and bags. Fringe is certainly having a moment! I found this fringed bag at Target recently (on sale!) and knew it was the perfect way for me to incorporate the trend. Even better, the bag converts to a backpack! I kept my outfit simple as the weather hasn't been super warm yet. Chambray, black denim, and booties paired well with the ease of the fringe. And of course we have to talk about this hat! Another steal from Target! Love the soft brown and the height. Perfect for these chillier spring days and a perfect compliment to the fringe!

Scarf Print.
Sporting a casual, cool look in this flowy scarf print top. Because the pattern is bright and busy, I kept the rest of my outfit simple. Black faux leather joggers and wedge sneakers were the perfect base for this fun top. I also grabbed my big, gold hoops to play off the boho, gypsy vibe of my top.

Tie Dye
Tie-dye. My favorite print in high school, especially paired with a pair of overalls. While there are some aspects of the 90s I'd like to forget, I'm excited to see some of the fashions return in a more updated way. Overalls, Birkenstocks, and some tie-dye. I love that this dress was done in a simple black and white tie-dye. Not as bright as my t-shirts of old and in a comfortable high-low cut. Paired with a pair of wedge sneakers and a chambray shirt I went for an easy, sporty look to keep the focus on my dress. Happy Kicks for fashion comebacks!!

Overalls.
A quick post tonight after a relaxing Sunday at home with the kids. I love that I can be relaxed and casual on the weekends. Our fall weather was amazing this weekend and I was still able to wear shorts. These overalls have been a go to for me when I'm in the mood for something easy and comfy. Stripes and booties were simple add-ons for a weekend look!

Pleats.
How pretty is this pleated maxi skirt? It's a really soft pink color, blush I would call it. The pleats add some dimension and create some flowy movement when I'm walking. I also tried a crop top today. I've definitely rocked them in the past when I was much younger and showing most of your midriff was acceptable for a girl of that age. Trying this trend again was somewhat scary, but I like that this top is loose and that my skirt is high waisted. So I really wasn't showing any skin. Crops and high waists are the perfect combination for a more modest and age appropriate look. I'm giving myself a Happy Kick today for actually putting on a real outfit and doing my hair. The lazy days of summer break have really taken ahold of me!

Denim & Print
Easy breezy in another jumpsuit today. I love the ease and comfort of this printed number. It's strapless which is nice in the summer, but for school I threw on my denim vest. A pair of wedges, my straw bag, and some fun jewelry gave this jumpsuit a beachy feel. Now, if only I were actually headed to the beach! Only 23 more school days though! Happy Kicks for that!

Army Green
A dress over pants? Why, yes, I think I will! I really like the idea of taking a summer dress and styling it for the winter. Normally I wear this army green shift with a pair of gladiators and a straw fedora. But not today my friends, not today! Instead, I put together a simple outfit of a striped top and skinny black pants, and threw my shift over top. VoilĂ ! A dress and pants. Together. I kind of like it, and the best part...my legs were warm, because the temperatures were not.
Happy Kicks today for a full house! My husband took my daughter on a mini vacation earlier this week and they are finally home. We are whole again and I love it!
