Fringe.

One of my favorite spring trends is fringe. I've seen it on dresses, skirts, boots, and bags. Fringe is certainly having a moment! I found this fringed bag at Target recently (on sale!) and knew it was the perfect way for me to incorporate the trend. Even better, the bag converts to a backpack! I kept my outfit simple as the weather hasn't been super warm yet. Chambray, black denim, and booties paired well with the ease of the fringe. And of course we have to talk about this hat! Another steal from Target! Love the soft brown and the height. Perfect for these chillier spring days and a perfect compliment to the fringe!

Aztec.

I'm a sucker for a pair of printed pants, but only if they fit right. A pattern can be very difficult to wear on the bottom half of your body, but this Aztec print is subtle and loose. I kept my vibe cool with a chambray shirt (collar popped, of course) and a pair of cap toe espadrilles. I also attempted a new hairstyle. I call it the faux hawk braid. Not easy to do with such short hair but I think it turned out pretty cool. My cross-body bag was the perfect bag to finish this look.

Rockin' Moccs.

For my birthday, I finally got the pair of moccasins I've been lusting over for months (thanks to the hubs)! They are the perfect mixture of comfort an style. I'm in love with the fringe and small metal details. I went simple with my outfit ~ black denim, stripes, and chambray tied around my waist. A little 90s nod to go with my fringe. My oversized tweed blazer was once again the perfect outer layer. Happy Kicks for some new rockin' Moccs!

Tulle.

How great is this tulle skirt? Ballerina chic? I kind of feel like Carrie Bradshaw ~ minus the 4 inch heels and glamorous life, of course! I decided to pair this girly skirt with some casual pieces. Enter the chambray shirt and army vest. A bit masculine and perfect partners. A pair of suede booties and some statement earrings were the finishing touches.

Tie Dye

Tie-dye. My favorite print in high school, especially paired with a pair of overalls. While there are some aspects of the 90s I'd like to forget, I'm excited to see some of the fashions return in a more updated way. Overalls, Birkenstocks, and some tie-dye. I love that this dress was done in a simple black and white tie-dye. Not as bright as my t-shirts of old and in a comfortable high-low cut. Paired with a pair of wedge sneakers and a chambray shirt I went for an easy, sporty look to keep the focus on my dress. Happy Kicks for fashion comebacks!!

Joggers.

I'm in green again. It's such a fun color especially in a loose, silk jogging pant. I love the side stripe in these pants as it adds a bit of interest to an outfit as well as a sporty vibe. I kept my outfit on the casual side by pairing the pants with a loose white tee. Sandals and a statement necklace gave it a little twist. I've found that the temperatures inside my school building are chilly with the AC running all the time so I've been bringing an extra layer. This chambray shirt was the perfect piece to tie around my waist as I headed out the door.

Sparkle and Flow.

The chambray shirt. It goes with everything. You can wear it with a casual outfit or something more dressy. I went dressy today with these great flowy pants. I tied my shirt at the waist to play up my shape and of course popped the collar. The final touch ~ this fab sequin clutch. I saw several versions of this clutch on Pinterest and knew I had to find one. After searching around I found one on an online boutique. I love carrying it with both dressy and casual outfits. A little sparkle never hurts!
